I'm looking for a low-cost solution to fix my Regar axle seal leakage problem. A mechanically inclined, but I don't have a lift or other tools at my home to get this done but if I had access to that I could get it done,

Dealerships want $2200 to replace one axle seal. Most of that cost is all labor. If I had access to a shop I could do most of this work.
my question to the group is, how can I get a low-cost axle used or otherwise how difficult is it to swap out an entire rear axle versus just replacing an axle seal and possibly the axle wheel bearings and if I'm gonna go through all this and get the shop and you know get the truck on a lift. Would it be better just to do a actual vehicle lift at that time as well?
